More than 300 people braved the poor weather to
turn out for this year's
Evesham Party in the Park.
Despite the constant rain, crowds gathered on Abbey Park
for an afternoon
filled with entertainment. There were live performances on stage from this
year's W
Factor finalists and children from the Youth Music Project as well as
an appearance from the popular party bus.
A
climbing wall, plate spinning and several other fun and sports stalls
were also on offer at the event.
Jenny Davis,
arts development officer at Wychavon District Council
which organised the event, said: "The weather was a bit disappointing
throughout the day but that didn't stop the fun we had planned.
"Families came out and really enjoyed
the day of high quality
entertainment."
